The same principle applies for platelegs, but
OSRS gold with the difference that Dragon plates are cheaper. So, what is repair cost (convenience of repair isn't an issue as there are NPCs that repair in Lumbridge, Khazard, Burthorpe, Void Knight Outpost, and you can do it from your house)?
It's $90,000 per 15 hours. The cost is lower if you're doing it in your house and you actually possess a medium level of smithing (50 in the case of Torag, for example, will cost about 70k). Let's multiply it and call it 100k the same way we're rounding the cost of Torag's 300k and not 340k. The sum of 86*15 is 1,290. That's how many hours of your time you'd need be fighting with these (not wear it) before you'd spent all the money you would for a dragon platebody.
For reference, 200 hours is an inordinate amount of time to attain a level of 99. It gets worse in combat. This isn't just a matter of wearing it. It doesn't change the stats slowly. They're good, but they stop when it goes between 25% and zero. I'm not sure why anyone will pay a lot more for an inferior piece of armor based on the need to shell out small amounts of cash each 15-hour period of battle. The reason dragon platebodies are so expensive has nothing to do with their utility It's because they're difficult to find.
If not, I'll buy a Bgs, then one of the D claws along with any additional cash... After that, the remaining cash is used for the leveling mage, pray, summ or herby. Ndy: Got 90 Str today.. I wont be training this for a while.. It won't be until I get 85 def and 90 atk. (From the 80-85 ..), and 70-70 range and possibly even to veng..
At that point I'd have the chance to get a cr. I can afford Sarasword easy.. All of us have full torags plus full veracs for tanks grind (full intake of 3 sharks, and the rest of the super sets and
cheap RuneScape gold pots to pray over the offence..)
